Opposition wants a persistent implementation of Dayton

Sarajevo, 30 October 1998 (AIM) - "According to the estimates of B&H Soc. Democrats, the process of constitution of executive and legislative powers on each level, moves very slowly, and it is necessary should accelerate that process, in a view to settle some existential problems of FB&H citizens", said Refik Ahmedinovic, vice-president of the party, adding that "the Social Democrats will insist on a persistent implementation of election results."

Reminding that the session of the House of representatives of the FB&H was postponed twice, Ahmedinovic said that "it has happened because the CD Coalition and HDZ were not ready to present with candidates for some functions."

Ahmedinovic said that "SD will try to create an atmosphere in the Parliament that it becomes a real Parliament, where the executive institutions accept what has been adopted by legislative institutions."

At this occasion Ahmedinovic stated that "the situation in the canton of Tuzla is not serious at all, because of the fight only for seats.. Social democrats and SDP have 44 received percent there, but nobody asks them for their opinion." (End)
